Food Bank Referrals – An Update
Since the outbreak of coronavirus, many food banks have noted issues with their referral pathways. Many key referral agencies have stopped offering face-to-face services and moved to telephone or online-only service – meaning they cannot issue the traditional, red paper vouchers to people in need of emergency food.
Over the last week, we’ve been working to see how we can ensure that people who need emergency food can still access it during these unprecedented times. We’re talking to national partners about an urgent answer on this, and will have more information for you later this week – in the meantime, we wanted to let you know we know this is a priority and we’re working on solutions.

(20 Mar 2020) Leeds City Community Hubs update

Although most Hubs and Centres are still open currently, this may be subject to change.
