Leeds Welfare Support Scheme (LWSS)

Self-referrals and agency referrals can be made by calling 0113 376 0330 (Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm). LWSS can no longer take email referrals. Referrals can be made for those needing food, support for fuel payments and household goods, and LWSS will refer on to relevant support services for any additional need identified, whether this be benefit, debt, mental health or any other issue. At the beginning of September, the COVID-19 telephone line was redirected to the LWSS line, with residents now being advised to contact this team if they are struggling to get food because of lost income or if they are self-isolating.

Community Food Member fees have been reinstated. More information about becoming a member is here. E-mail Pete Barringer on for more information.
